Return Policy

At Fox Allen Bindery LLC, each item is crafted with care using traditional bookbinding and paper arts techniques. Because many of our products and services are custom or handmade, returns are handled differently depending on the type of purchase.

1. Custom Orders

Custom bookbinding projects, marbled paper, and any made-to-order items are final sale and not eligible for returns or refunds.
This includes:

  • Custom books

  • Special-order marbled papers

  • Personalized or one-of-a-kind items

If there is an issue with craftsmanship or the item arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days so we can find a solution.

2. Book Repairs

Book repairs and restorations are non-refundable, as they are specialized services tailored to each item.

If you believe an error was made in the repair process, contact us within 7 days of receiving your restored book so we can assess the situation.

3. Workshops & Classes

Workshop registrations follow our separate Cancellation Policy.
Completed workshops and classes are non-refundable once attended.

4. Ready-Made Items

Non-custom goods (such as ready-made notebooks or marbled sheets) may be eligible for return.

Eligibility:

  • Must be unused and in original condition

  • Returned within 30 days of delivery or purchase

  • Customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect

Refunds will be issued once the item is returned and inspected.

5. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect:

  • Notify us within 7 days of delivery

  • Include photos of the issue if possible

  • We will repair, replace, or refund as appropriate

6. How to Start a Return

Please email contact@foxallenbindery.com with:

  • Your name

  • Order number (if applicable)

  • Description of the issue

  • Photos (for damaged items)

We’ll respond with next steps.
