Cancellation Policy

At Fox Allen Bindery LLC, all of our services including workshops, custom projects, and book repairs that require time, planning, and materials. This policy outlines how cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds are handled.
1. Workshops & Classes
Customer Cancellations
21+ days before the workshop:
You may receive a full refund or transfer your registration to a future workshop.3–6 days before the workshop:
You may transfer your spot to another workshop date one time for free. Refunds are not available.Within 48 hours of the workshop or no-shows:
Cancellations are non-refundable and cannot be transferred.
Studio Cancellations
If Fox Allen Bindery LLC must cancel or reschedule a workshop (e.g., due to illness, weather, or low enrollment), you will receive:
A full refund or
A free transfer to another workshop date
2. Custom Orders
Due to the personalized nature of custom bookbinding and marbled paper projects:
Deposits are non-refundable
Cancellations made after materials have been purchased or work has begun are not eligible for refunds
If you need to adjust details of your project, we will do our best to accommodate, but changes may affect pricing or timeline
3. Book Repairs
Because repairs often require assessment and specialized materials:
Estimates are provided before work begins
Once you approve an estimate and a deposit (if required) is paid, cancellations are generally not refundable
If no work has started and no materials have been purchased, we may offer a partial refund at our discretion
4. Missed Pickup or Abandoned Work
Finished items not picked up within 60 days of completion may incur storage fees.
After 90 days, the item may be considered abandoned unless other arrangements have been made.
5. How to Request a Cancellation

All requests must be made in writing.
6. Exceptions
We understand that emergencies happen. At our discretion, we may offer flexibility beyond what is listed above, though this is not guaranteed.
