Studio Guidelines and Code of Conduct

Fox Allen Bindery LLC is a creative and hands-on space for bookbinding, paper marbling, and related crafts. To ensure a safe, productive, and enjoyable experience for everyone, all participants are expected to follow these guidelines.
1. Respect the Studio & Equipment
Treat all tools, equipment, and materials with care
Do not remove studio equipment or supplies without permission
Clean up your workspace after use to maintain a safe environment
2. Safety First
Follow all instructions provided by the instructor
Use sharp tools, heated equipment, adhesives and all other materials carefully
Wear appropriate clothing and footwear for safety
Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions immediately
3. Participation & Conduct
Be punctual and attentive during workshops
Respect other participants’ work, space, and learning process
Refrain from disruptive behavior, including loud or inappropriate language
Personal electronic devices should be used minimally so as not to distract from the workshop
4. Health & Wellness
Do not attend workshops if you are feeling ill
Notify the instructor of allergies, medical conditions, or mobility concerns in advance
Take responsibility for your own safety and well-being while in the studio
5. Photography & Media
The Studio may take photos or videos of workshops for promotional purposes
Participants who do not wish to be photographed should notify the instructor at the start of the session
6. Minors
Participants 16+ may attend independently
Participants under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who signs the liability waiver
7. Workshop Materials
Materials provided are for use during the workshop unless otherwise noted
Some items (marbled sheets, small tools, kits) may be available for purchase
8. Consequences for Violations
Failure to follow these guidelines may result in removal from the workshop or studio
No refunds will be provided if a participant is asked to leave due to unsafe or disruptive behavior
